In most cases, the Windows drivers found here are “self-extracting” (.exe) files. The only problem with this is that the adapter is so wide that you can not place a flash drive in the nearby USB port. I do not know how to activate the additional security button WPS (if you can explain, thank you). I recommend it for the value and operation of this article. If you are looking for a wireless adapter, this is an excellent option. My only problem is that I do not have a CD drive, but I was able to easily download the drivers from their site. My other computer did not have a connection problem. I could not establish a secure connection with the WIFI around my camper. I bought this item because the wireless connection does not work well on my laptop.
The use of this device still worked significantly better than trying to use the built-in Wi-Fi receiver in the laptop. My wife and I continued to use it in many other camps while traveling between Florida and Alaska, then we spent the last fall in Las Vegas and the winter in Needles (California). This made it much easier to use the Wi-Fi in the recreational vehicle park at Jacksonville Naval Air Station where I worked, but it was often relatively fast (probably based on the number of users who used it at the same time). I know that’s exactly what I need, even though I have not opened the package yet because I bought another one almost two years ago while living in our motor home just before my retirement.
